Airfoil strip and blading, both simple and complex cold rolled sections
are produced to extremely close tolerances which eliminate or reduce
costly and difficult machining. These sections are used in aircraft
engines in the fabrication of guide vane assemblies. Lengths of sections
can be arranged to suit requirements and compliance within strict
dimensional tolerances of plus or minus 0.001" is made possible by
means of envelope drawings. Sections are produced in heat / creep
resistant alloys as well as stainless steels and special alloys of the Nimonic and Inconel type.
