Bruntons Aero Products has invested in a modern fleet of CNC machine tools capable of producing complex, high-precision components for the aerospace, defence and high-specification engineering sectors. Our equipment enables us to manufacture everything from small, intricately turned parts to larger prismatic components with consistently tight tolerances.
Sliding Head / Swiss CNC Turning
(Star SR, SV and ST Machines)
Our fleet of sliding head CNC lathes specialises in the production of complex, high-volume precision turned components.
These machines are particularly suited to:
- Components up to approximately 32 mm diameter
- Long, slender parts where exceptional rigidity is required
- Multi-operation machining completed in a single cycle
- High-volume repeat production
- Tight tolerance aerospace components
With live tooling and multiple machining axes, our sliding head capability significantly reduces secondary operations while improving consistency and repeatability.
CNC Turning Centres
