WHAT WE DO
Bruntons Aero Products is a specialised manufacturer of machined components and mechanical cable assemblies. We supply direct to all levels of the Aerospace supply chain, servicing our customers prototype, serial production and spares requirements.
Our success in the stringent Aerospace sectors has been built on over a century of experience, where the most exacting production quality standards attainable are imposed. Delivery on time and ‘right first time’ for our customers is a must. Bruntons also support the Vintage Aircraft and Motorsport sectors, supplying Streamline Wires & machined components.
Machined Components
Using a mixture of traditional metal working machinery and the latest CNC technology, Bruntons Aero Products can produce a vast range of machined components from the simplest nuts and bolts to the most complex close tolerance parts.
We support small quantity prototyping, building into serial rate production as well as servicing our customers MRO or short lead time needs.
Bruntons work with a broad range of materials including Aluminum, Steel, Titanium and Inconel. We also offer machining of non-metallic materials such as plastics and Tufnell.
Streamline Wires
Streamline wires have been produced since 1909 to customer specific requirements or drawings. As well as the commercial, military and vintage aircraft markets, experimental and sport aerobatic aircraft are also catered for.
To support this, Bruntons is a specialist in Thread Rolling. This is the process to engineer and produce a screw thread by a roll swaging process, using hardened profiled rollers. Rolled threads are much stronger than threads machined by a traditional CNC cutting tool.
Cable Assemblies
Swaged or pressed cable assemblies are manufactured to comply with either with international standard specifications or customer's drawings.
Applications for our cable assemblies include Flight Control Systems, Release Mechanism Cables, Retaining Cables and Cords, Helicopter Winch Cables, Cross Runway Arrester Pendants and many others.
Arrestor Ropes
Aircraft arresting systems are designed to ensure that certain aircraft are able to stop on the runway during landing, or after a high speed rejected take off.

Bruntons Aero Products has been a European leader in the design and manufacturer of Arrestor Rope Systems since the 1970's. Bruntons can support our customers in the design process for new systems using decades of experience, or we can manufacture to a ‘build to print’ customer provided solution.
